Best Italian in the City
and Best Pesto in the world. I've only had delivery from Il Mattone and their food is the best italian I've ever had. I have celiac disease and I still eat here once a week. If they had gluten free pasta I may eat here every night. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent Brick Oven Pizza
I ate dinner at this place while visiting for the weekend. The service was excellent. They were attentive enough to keep your plates cleared and glasses filled but not overly intrusive. The brick oven pizza was excellent. The fresh mozzerella made the pizza melt in your mouth!

Yummy!!
I love this Il Mattone. It has been in the neighborhood about 14 years now hidden in Tribeca.Great Italian food. This place has the best brick oven Pizza also. Staff is always friendly. I am addicted to their Penne Vodka!

Love the Food Here.
I just love this little Italian Restaurant in Tribeca. The food is always consistent and I love there Pizza. It is the best in the area.

Over Priced
I was shocked. I've been eating here for quite a while. I went to a party here. What a rip off. The pasta dishes were so expensive. Bar bill, a fortune. And we are good customers. Don't you guys know were in a recession. Lower the prices on something! Food is good, but give me a break!

Little Treasure In Tribeca!
Finally found a place for great food, great atmosphere and NOT Tribeca prices. Good for groups, kids not a stuffy, high-end Tribeca steakhouse. Don't miss this one..
