Tribeca Delivery Report
We had delivery of a warm Spinach Salad (good, small, and very overpriced at $11, it was just spinach and canaille beans w/some vinaigrette). Large Vodka Pizza Pie ($18) Excellent!! Wonderful crust, top notch ingredients, that savory vodka sauce, rich full flavor and we didn't get that heavy feeling after eating eat. I'll order again but just stick w/ the pizza.

Good Italian
Il Mattone is good Italian food for the neighborhood. They are a old school restaurant in Tribeca about 15 years now. I love there pastas, pizza and service. I order from them at work too. Thank you il mattone for all the memories

Delivery Issues
Great food, but please get your priorities straight Il Mattone. Ordered lots of food for my group for lunch. Was delivered 1 hour later. My group never ordered again. Remember customers are always right. Nasty women on the phone and all. You lost a customer.

Best Italian in the City
and Best Pesto in the world. I've only had delivery from Il Mattone and their food is the best italian I've ever had. I have celiac disease and I still eat here once a week. If they had gluten free pasta I may eat here every night. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent Brick Oven Pizza
I ate dinner at this place while visiting for the weekend. The service was excellent. They were attentive enough to keep your plates cleared and glasses filled but not overly intrusive. The brick oven pizza was excellent. The fresh mozzerella made the pizza melt in your mouth!
