    Best authentic Italian cuisine

I have been there for dinner in August. The quality of food is 'truly remarkable and the kitchen is authentic Italian. The dishes are refined, abundant and delicious. The owner and staff are very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere relaxed.

Agree completely with the review by psm. The tagliolini funghi e speck is a gem. Linguini-like pasta in a porcini mushroom cream sauce, with speck (like prosciutto) draped over it. I can never get enough. They have a special sometimes that is a penne

    Run Don't Walk

This is a restaurant that has truly blossomed since moving across the street to larger digs. Beats any other Italian hands down - this is authentic. A friendly greeting as soon as you enter, then they proceed to spoil you with their service and great

    Very good!

A small place, easily confused with La Vineria next door. The food was very good. I had the Carpaccio di Tonno for a starter, and it might have been the best thing I have eaten in NYC this week. For the main course, I had John Dorry with a tomato, caper,

    What a nice place....

I go there every other day for lunch. I was born and raised in Italy and I can assure you that this is as close to REAL Italian food as it gets. Do not expect Italian American dishes such as "Chicken Parm" of "Fettuccine Alfredo" , this is the real deal
