Great Food, Great Service
Even though it was busy, my party of six was seated quickly with very little waiting. The hostess and waiters were extremely nice and helpful. There are TONS of pasta choices that are comprised of really interesting combinations. It really challenges you to try something new and everything that we had was delicious. I highly recommend this place for its inexpensive prices, great service, and awesome pasta. GO!

Tons of Pastas
The menu here is really incredible...I have never seen so many pasta choices and I have gone to a million Italian restaurants. I have not experienced any rude people working there and they have always been accommodating with regards to any changes on the dishes I wanted (i.e. using whole wheat pasta, leaving out certain ingredients, adding other ingredients). I highly recommend this place to any pasta lovers.

food overpowers the hostess
yes, the hostess is a bit strict! (i think she may also be the owner). and yes there are many rules - no outside drinks for one - my friend had his beverage confiscated and returned after the meal! but the food is so good and so well priced. and the wait staff is always nice and consistent. i love it. going to order the shitake panini for lunch today. so good...

The Pasta Nazi?
With all the bad reviews of Il Corallo's service policies, you might call this place "the pasta nazi." When you eat here, you really have to pay attention to the rules and follow them, or eat somewhere else. If you're prepared to have everyone in your party show up at once, wait for your table patiently and considerately of others, and treat everyone with some respect, Il Corallo's menu is really worth exploring. I've never seen such a selection of pasta! And it's all good, in my opinion, although not every dish is for everybody. But that's the beauty of variety. The sauces can sometimes be a bit on the salty side, so don't forget to drink some water well before you start eating.

never written on this site...
but I was so upset by the poor service, I wanted to write it down. I work in a busy restaurant and understand the difficulty with seating incomplete tables, but this place takes it to an EXTREME. When the restaurant is half empty and I want to eat something while waiting for my boyfriend, denying me that is simply disrespectful and loses the restaurant money. They also have a rule that you must order everything at the same time. I don't get itI wanted to cry out of frustration for how the hostess treated me. Service is only a factor, but the poor service here is enough to ruin a meal and a good few hours.

Downright Delicious
Okay so let me start by saying that I absolutely love ordering from this restaurant. They take your order and within 20 minutes you have HOT and YUMMY pasta. The lunch specials are CRAZY CHEAP. For 10 bux I get a soup or salad and a choice of any pasta dish. My favorite is Tortellini Parmigiano. The black ravioli from their dinner menu is SICK! A must try for those that love CHEAP EATS and DOWNRIGHT FRESH PASTA....ENJOY!
