I have been to this place several times for dinner. The foods are always great and service so-so at times. However, the great dinning experience all changed when we were there last week. We ordered 6 bottles of wine and told to leave if we don't order food. We then tried to ordered the famous tiramisu but the "pasta nazi" said dessert is to be served after dinner and this is not a cafe or bar it is restaurant!

We were so happy we came across this restaurant in SoHo. The food was unbelievable. If you are looking for some great pasta- this is the place for you. There were six of us and all were very pleased with our dishes. And you can not beat the price! The price does not reflect the value of the food. We highly recommend this place!

My friend & I met here for dinner yesterday. I checked menupages.com for a lot of places, and this seemed right for the price and location. Foodwise, we enjoyed what we ordered, which included a salad and two entrees + the Tiaramasu. However, the bread was cold and not fresh, and when we asked our waiter to warm it up, the bread didn't come back until we were already eating, and it was still cold. We sent it back again, and we never did get the bread back. I love delicious warmed Italian bread with my meal (or before) and was very disappointed that they couldn't accommodate us.

This is the best pasta place I've been to and extremely inexpensive-- you can get a whole entree for under $10! The staff is really nice and its a great place to enjoy a nice relaxing lunch or dinner. Very highly recommend it!

Very good food, ridiculously huge portions. My husband and I can split a starter and an entree between the two of us, and both get plenty to eat. Interesting pasta combinations--all of their fresh pastas and their light tomato sauce are great. The bocconcini and the seafood ravioli are favorites. The tiramisu got bashed in a formal review, but we really liked it. Again, share the dessert--you get enough to feed a crowd.

Great food, generous portions, the most amazing Tiramisu I have ever had!! Prices are reasonable! Highly Recommend Il Corallo to all my friends and anyone who asks for a great local soho restaurant!

Fed a family of four for under $60 (no wine). Pasta was fresh, fish was cooked just right, sauces tasty, portions generous. Service was a little brusque but really really fast. Not a lot of elbow room, but maybe that's how they keep the prices reasonable. A real find.
