Consistently Great food
I have been going to this restaurant since 1999 and always experienced delicious and fresh food in a quaint setting! this is one of the few restaurants that is consistently good, its a little noisy but well worth it! fantastic lunch specials include salad, it reminds me of an italian spot in Rome, very cozy!

Favorite restaurant
There are a lot of restaurants in NYC, but I keep coming back to this one for the best Italian food ever! Fresh, pasta made daily, friendly servers who have been there forever. Prices are quite low. Frequently I am the only non-Italian speaker in this wonderful restaurant. I would like to recommend highly, but I am afraid I will never get a seat again.

A Long Time Customer
I love T.C. I come here when it is not busy, an off hour. It is well worth it. Their pastas are delicious, and if you have never had their Antipasto Gaeto, it is the best in NYC. I have been ordering it for almost 14 years, and for $8.95 it is wonderfully delicious and a steal. Try their luncheons, their house salad and a choice of entree. Now if I could find something similar on the Upper Eastside within the same cost range... yea, right.

An Old Favorite
This place has great food and is a real bargain for the neighborhood. If you want more careful service you need to pay for it, and this is not the place you want. But the owner and staff have always been friendly in our experience.

No Taste & Stale
Atmosphere is charming enough, although, bad acoustics...a few people talking sounds like a concert. Bread was brought to the table stale w/ no plates, butter or oil. Fresh mozzarella was not fresh at all, the slices in my panino were dry and rubbery. Tomatoes in the sandwich were old. Carrot soup tasted like carrot flavored heavy cream. Service was bad. Server left us in the corner, no drink refills, plates...even the check was difficult to get.
