Il Caffe Latte

I live close to the place, so I usually get takeout. Although it takes awhile, the excellent food is worth the wait. I usually get the Chicken Parm, which is fantastic. The french onion soup is great to. It is a good spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner and their brownies are good, too. This is a great spot and I hope more people go to it.

try the salmon burgers! I don't know why people keep trashing the service. It's a little slow but it's also a small place... They usually only have 1 or MAYBE 2 waiters on service. Everyone needs to calm down with the negativity towards the wait staff. There's always one tall black gentleman when I'm there and considering that he's manning the whole place by himself I think he does well, and he's super kind and helpful.

Nothing like being snubbed by your server again and again! Slow. Such a shame! It's a cute cafe with decent food, but the staff makes it impossible to walk back in.

I live in the neighborhood and have been to Il Caffe Latte many times. The food is always good, the service is always bad. The staff is slow and inattentive. They never check to see if you need anything, never bring around coffee refills. If you ask for a refill you might wait 10 minutes or more before you get it.

I have frequented this place often and every time I have left delighted and ready to return. The atmosphere is eclectic, service is great, food is good and the price is affordable. It is usually a crowd but the wait is rarely long. If you are seeking a comfy place for good eats and conversation, you will find this gem nestled in the heart of Harlem. You won't be disappointed.

This cafe is a sweet relief in that Harlem does not have many laid back, yet fun cafes. Unless you want to go to Starbuck's it's hard to find cafes to enjoy good food and drinks. Came here a few times, but most recently, the day after "hurricane" Irene and this cafe was one of the few places around the city open that day. So it was busy an there was a little wait, but when seated the staff were crazed, yet responsive and courteous. I think the menu items provide a great variety of options and the vibe is diverse and positive. Truly a great find!

I live in the neighborhood and have been to Caffe Latte many a time. The food is great, and usually appears quickly. I have had many things on the menu, both brunch and dinner, and not been disappointed. The decor is cute, and the coffee is tasty. The one downfall is the service. While not rude, servers tend to be inattentive and less than friendly. I'm not looking for bubbly, but a smile would be nice now and then. That being said, I am willing to put up with the service because I like everything else about Caffe Latte.
