I have frequented this place often and every time I have left delighted and ready to return. The atmosphere is eclectic, service is great, food is good and the price is affordable. It is usually a crowd but the wait is rarely long. If you are seeking a comfy place for good eats and conversation, you will find this gem nestled in the heart of Harlem. You won't be disappointed.

This cafe is a sweet relief in that Harlem does not have many laid back, yet fun cafes. Unless you want to go to Starbuck's it's hard to find cafes to enjoy good food and drinks. Came here a few times, but most recently, the day after "hurricane" Irene and this cafe was one of the few places around the city open that day. So it was busy an there was a little wait, but when seated the staff were crazed, yet responsive and courteous. I think the menu items provide a great variety of options and the vibe is diverse and positive. Truly a great find!

I live in the neighborhood and have been to Caffe Latte many a time. The food is great, and usually appears quickly. I have had many things on the menu, both brunch and dinner, and not been disappointed. The decor is cute, and the coffee is tasty. The one downfall is the service. While not rude, servers tend to be inattentive and less than friendly. I'm not looking for bubbly, but a smile would be nice now and then. That being said, I am willing to put up with the service because I like everything else about Caffe Latte.

Reading reviews below I am sad that people have had bad experiences with the service. My husband and I have been going for months and have always had great service. Maybe it's because we always get served by our favorite waitress. The menu is nice, their brunch is great, but it could use an upgrade overall.

I would be at this place a LOT more often if the service wasn't maddeningly slow and inattentive. I hope the owner stumbles upon this and lights a fire under some people - they really are losing a lot of business because of this problem.

Whats the point of calling your shop cafe latte if the latte is the worse ever. Bitter, dry and not creamy or froathy at all. The decor is very cute and the ambiance could be nice but the quality and service is just not in line... very dissappointed...

I had a very bad experience there. Have been here many times, the food is not bad but the service will ruin your meal. Save yourself the irritation and go somewhere else, even if its far from your home.
