Tried delivery from Il Brigante 2 years ago and had an unsatisfactory experience. We figured we would try again and was equally dissappointed. The pizza was soggy and the 4 peices of bruschetta were stacked on top of one another , completely soaked from the tomatoes. Also, no napkins or utensils in the delivery. We will stick with the better options in the neighborhood.

Fantastic mozzarella on the Caprese Salad, perfectly cooked pasta and fresh seafood. Very reasonable prices.

Tehela and her staff have catered to our needs with grace and unbelievably good food. The pizzas are extraordinary and the entire menu is glorious. The food is more than plentiful and we will continue to return for the cozy hospitality.

Not the same old pizza...

this place is a complete hoax and a ripoff. Pizza was the poorest I have ever had in the city. Dough was soggy, sauce was tastless, skimmpy toppings. On top of that they charge $18 a pizza. I ordered 2 pizza's for 4 people and the 2 soaggy messes that arrived cold were personal size pizzas. The calameria was rubber frozen grocery store quality. Eggplant was inedibble!! Take a word of advice and stay away!

I really wanted Il Brigante to impress me- there's a limited amount of real Italian restaurants to order in from in the financial district and I was unfortunately not impressed. As noted in the headline the food was a notch above a pizza place in both taste and presentation. Chicken Milanese was drowned in a balsamic "sauce" - not traditional in the least. The Chicken&Salsicce was basically a few chicken&sausage chunks, some non descript sauce and sliced zucchini/potatoes. Boring. Not flavorful. The Bruschetta- droopy, soggy and no taste. It's hard to mess it up, but they did - decent tomatoes, crisp bread, good olive oil, etc- just didn't even cut it. Again - like in a pizza place. Sadly, not someplace I'll order from or visit again unless really hungry and lazy.

I love this place. It has many good points, and a few not-so-good, but overall it's worth a visit. Cons: It's small and can get noisy depending on who else is there. Sometimes they slightly overcook the cannoli shells. Pros: Pleasant staff. Delicious food. A good Prosecco on the menu, and the pizza is tasty without being too salty. My favorite entree is the carbonara, worth every calorie and gram of fat! The salads are really good too. They are not overdressed and the greens are fresh. As for dessert, even if the cannoli shell is a bit overdone, the filling alone is enough to send me to heaven. It would definitely be my choice for dessert if I were on death-row!
