My boyfriend and I went to this place on a whim, and we were very impressed. The service was excellent, the atmosphere warm and inviting and the food was much better than I thought it would be. The lasagne was EXCELLENT! Great Caesar salad and calamari, as well. I will definitely go back.

...but now they're closed. If I had a hunch, I'd say it was because of the poor attitude and service. I sincerely hope you take their closing as a lesson of what happens when you don't give your patrons (especially your neighbors!) warm and attentive service. We hope you're around for a long time. Only you can make sure of that...

What has happened to the service here? Food is still great but come on; a waiter who seems annoyed that you're there? We were a polite bunch including two restaurant owners, no special requests. When making a reservation be sure to specify front or back room. I recommend the back room. I will go back for the food but this place only gets one more try from me so waitstaff, try to be nicer to your patrons.

The steak was OK, but where did the service go? The servers were also hard to get attention from. I too live in the neighborhood, but I will search out other places.

We went and had the "long lunch" for $15 each. With a salad and entree for that price you can't beat it. The service was lovely and the space is beautiful. Sit in the back room and make sure to check out the huge, modern unisex bathroom. Great place.

Ok, i live around the corner. So i've become a regular. I never thought it would happen, but the food, the service and the atmosphere are so good that they are worthy of my repeated return. When the chef, the server and even the bartender come over to see how you're doing, you have to wonder whether they are bored and in need of entertainment or genuinely concerned. Thankfully, we can always count on the latter. The steak for two is decadent but worthwhile. the Tiramisu and cream puffs divine. The raw scallop plate that I can never remember the name of slides down your throat. After dinner escape next store to the sister restaurant Sette for a Limoncello. (Note to self: "When not in Italy, go here for a sense of home.")
