Disappointing food...disappointing service!
Went recently for a friend's birthday, and was very disappointed. The ambiance is wonderful! The food was below average. The service was poor! They stopped bringing chips, but our food didn't arrive for another hour...and they weren't stopping by to take drink orders (we 5 girls would have ordered a lot, if offered!) or apologize for the delay. I finally had to walk around to find a waiter and ask where our food was. Once food arrived, it was cold and tasteless...but we were so hungry after being there 2 hrs that we ate it anyway. Would not go back (for food), nor recommend it to others. The dance club downstairs, however, was fun...but hard to enjoy it after the miserable dinner experience.

Blah food
The salsa was bland, the stacked enchiladas were bland, the margaritas were too bitter, and the guac was way too salty.

Gret foot Poor Service
The food at Iguana was very good, the service...Not so great. We wait over 40 minutes for out appetizer that never came out. I waited about 25 minutes for my drink when all the other 9 girls had theirs...No One Noticed! There was not staff to be found or I would've asked. However, I did enjoy my entree.

Spectacular!!!
I've been there twice, and both times, the service, food and drinks were impeccable!! The guacamole is TO DIE FOR and I love that they prepare it table side!! Somebody does come to your table maybe every 8 minutes to see if you need anything, but that's a lot better than being ignored! The waterfall near the bar is beautiful, but it splashes the steps leading down to the bathrooms, so walk slowly. Make it a point to go down there, though. The tiling is gorgeous!!

Dissatisfied / Overrated
The atmosphere is nice and the drinks are good. HOWEVER, I've definitely tasted better Mexican food - for the price, feel it should have been a lot better. How can you possibly go wrong with the guacamole? Also, the staff interrupting us every other minute and staring was extremely annoying. I can honestly say that with so many restaurants in this city, especially Mexican, Iguana won't be one I'll be returning to unless I want a good drink at the bar.

Great Athmosphere good food
Very tasty burritos and GREAT Guacamole made at the table. Mohitos in any flavor lover the coconut one. Bar and dancing downstairs so a good place to go to when it rains..Nice service even though everybody walking around would ask as if we are ok. Reeeeally tasty banana desert.

Great nachos!
And drinks. Ambiance is terrific as well. It's a little pricey but I would say worth it.
