Great pizza but not so good service.

Although the pizza here is delicious regardless of what it cost ( I don't complain when food is good but a little pricey). Like everyone else has said here the service is not on point. I'm not sure if the owner has family members working here or people who don't care but he needs to get it together. When I ate here with my boyfriend we got our pizzas which we were very happy with but had to practically wait 10 minutes for a refill on our drink. After we were done we had to wait another 10 minutes for the check because our waitress was too busy hula hooping (literally) in an empty area it was fun to watch but in all reality the service needs to step up because the food here is great!

Great Pizza, Too Expensive, Lousy Service

The pizza is really good, a great alternative to Grimaldi's around the corner. The high prices are outrageous, however. The kitchen and the waitstaff move at a galacial pace and are not at all attentive.

not very optimistic ab this place

Food is tasty, but definitely not worth the outrageous prices. I enjoyed the pizza itself, but the atmosphere and service in this place were horrendous. The servers were so disorganized and frantic. Our server didn't seem to want to be there, and was unfriendly. The food took forever to come out, and when it finally did, we didn't have any plates and had to wait a few more minutes for someone to actually bring them to us. I also noticed that the servers and kitchen people were arguing with eachother, and since the pizza station is basically on the floor, you could hear the arguing and definitely feel the tension in the air. Overall the food is decent, but the service and atmosphere created by the employees is really awful. Wouldn't be surprised if this place went under in the next year.

    Too bad about the service

I live in the area, and have tried this place a couple of times now (4 to be exact). I really want this place to succeed, but the service is so poor, I just can't understand it. I think the pizzas (thick, thin and white) are all very good, but when the service is consistantly poor, I just dont' get it. I usually don't write reviews, but I'm hoping the management reads some of these, and does something about it. On our most recent visit, the waitress didn't realized there were different types of red wine, just kept on repeating "we have red and we have white." I just shook my head, and decided to skip the wine altogether. Maybe take out is the way to go, since the pizza is still very good when it gets to my apt.

    WOW -

What a sad, sad event to see a place where the service is SO POOR that you know in a few months, we will see another empty building. The food is GREAT - but the service is killing them.

    poor service but good pizza

Possibly the most diappointing service I have ever had at a restaurant! We went with another couple and the wait staff couldnt figure out where to seat us for 10 minutes even thought there was no one else waiting. They took us to like 3 different tables! Then we ordered 2 different pizzas for the 4 of us. One pizza came out 15 minutes before the other one! I didn't like the toppings on the first one that came out so I had to sit there while everyone else was eating! Then.....we go to pay with a credit card and the waitress informs us it is cash only. She said that there was a sign on the front door and the closest ATM is a 5 minute walk....by the way...the front door was proped open so no one could have seen the sign. Who looks for a sign on the front door anyway?!? worst service ever....but the pizza was pretty good.

    Finally!!

Its great to finally have wonderful pizza in the heights and not have to wait 1-2 hours with the tourists (i.e. grimaldi's, lucali). Toppings were incredibly fresh and the crust was just right - thin but substantive and not soggy (even though toppings were generous). This will be our new go-to. oh, and prices were very fair.
