The Tiger roll - the size and the presentation was amazing - the quality was not 5 star, but for the price I was very happy.

I was very concerned when Sushi Senin shut down on the UES which I counted as thebest on the UES. Low-and-behold, Ichiro opens and it's the perfect replacement! Grade-A fish, top notch service and if you're ordering delivery, expect a knock on your door in no time. Also, try a nato (fermented soy beans) handroll with a quail egg and scallions! It's one of the only places in NYC that have it and it's worth it at this place!

I am very impressed with this place! I've had sushi everywhere, including Tokyo, and this is some of the best sushi I've ever had. I've eaten there twice so far and the service is incredible. The second my tea gets low, there's someone there to fill up my cup; the waiters are extremely friendly and efficient. No complaints for now, and I will be coming back again and again :-)

Very, very solid. I order from here twice a week and have NEVER received a bad piece. People need to understand , this is a neighborhood sushi place, well priced, and consistent. It is not Blue Ribbon or Seki but for 1/3 the price it shouldn't be. Great for delivery. Just make sure you give your order to one of the women (the men always screw up). Significanly better than Haru or any of the other places in that price range.

I just moved to the UES from Murray Hill a couple months ago and hadn't ordered sushi delivery here yet. Today, I had received their menu under the door and compared pricing to a few others in the area and decided to go for it. For $25 I literally got a platter of sushi delivered to my door promptly. It was by far the most sushi I have ever received for that price and was of AMAZING quality. The rolls were huge! I don't know what it is like to eat in the restaurant but I highly recommend it for delivery.

I took my date to this restaurant for a dinner and we were pleasantly surprised by the good quality of food and service. I ordered the fried oysters (very crispy, oysters still tasted fresh), the chilean sea bass (perfect), and the green tea ice cream (can you really mess this up?). My date ordered the tako su (well presented and tasty) and a bunch of sushi. The sushi was fresh, above average grade, the eel sashimi came in large portions. For dessert, she got the red bean mochi, which was the only negative for the evening- the rice wrapper was obviously freezer burned, and tasted grainy. Other than that sour note, it was a great dining experience! It comes highly recommended.

This is definately one of the better places to come for sushi on the Upper East. Sushi rolls are creative and fairly priced. The staff is also friendly.
