Ichie Japanese Restaurant

We have been coming to this place for over 5 years now. Really love Ichie's sushi, always fresh and tasty. It is not fancy - but very comfortable and accommodating and quiet.

I lived w a family in Japan for 12 months, and so I love to come to this small cozy spot for home-style appetizers, sushi, and dinners.

I ordered delivery on a Thursday night and received clumsily cut fish, at best, it wasn't poisonous, per se, but definitely not fresh and that was the omakase! I called to let them know it wasn't good and was hung up on, because there was no manager there. Too bad. Miniature serving of hijiki dumped in a plastic container. This is competitively priced sushi, not a bargain at all. Super disappointing will not order again. Oh well!

This is a really great little neighborhood restaurant in a very under served area. Nice home cooking, homey atmosphere, friendly, non-intrusive service. Very good value

I go to Ichie a lot because I live on the next block from restaurant. The staff are friendly and the service is fast. Personally their kitchen appetizers and entrees are better than their sushi. Their prices are a bit expensive and quality isn't as good as other Japanese restaurants in the neighborhood. Great place for family and friends.

While tiny Ichie is a sweet, family run neighborhood place in an area distinctly lacking in options, their delivery is uneven. The shrimp tempura rolls are mostly dough, if there is any shrimp there, it's not easy to see or taste, the seaweed salad has on occasion arrived undressed or watery, and salmon skin rolls are sometimes unpleasantly bitter.

The best Japanese in the neighborhood! So delicious! an incredible find tucked away on 106th st. The salmon skin roll blew my mind. The Chirashi? amazing! do yourself a favor and check it out. They also deliver.
