While tiny Ichie is a sweet, family run neighborhood place in an area distinctly lacking in options, their delivery is uneven. The shrimp tempura rolls are mostly dough, if there is any shrimp there, it's not easy to see or taste, the seaweed salad has on occasion arrived undressed or watery, and salmon skin rolls are sometimes unpleasantly bitter.

The best Japanese in the neighborhood! So delicious! an incredible find tucked away on 106th st. The salmon skin roll blew my mind. The Chirashi? amazing! do yourself a favor and check it out. They also deliver.

Amazing. Raining on night, I go to Columbia, and there were only 3 of us we I arrived. Wife surveyed while husband made food. Amazing. Being that I ate at Masa, Nobu, etc. this is the best value out there!

This is a true japanaise restaurant..The fish is the highest quality that i've never find! fantastic place for a fantastic evening!

The service is so friendly and patient. I wouldn't say it is the best sushi I have had, but I don't think there is any better north of 96th street and the value is unbeatable. This is becoming my go to meal.

I eat here or order from here probably once a week. I'm totally addicted to their Philadelphia rolls, which are so much better than the Philly rolls at other places in the area. And it's great value compared to other sushi places in the city. I order in a lot when I'm busy, but I enjoy eating in the restaurant a lot too because it has a quiet, intimate atmosphere. It's the type of place where you can sit and read and enjoy a good meal. The staff is friendly and the hot towels are a nice touch. One thing: this might just be my paranoia, but their sushi seems less fresh on Monday, so I don't usually order from them on that day.

I am a regular customer at Ichie because the sushi is consistently fresh and well prepared. I would recommend this restaurant for take out. My favorites are the hand rolls and the sashimi deluxe.
