No MSG, Friendly Staff, Overall Great.

Aside from the delivery boys being rude almost 90% of the time, Hunan delight is great. The food isn't as oily as most restaurants. The food is expensive however. If you're willing to pay a few bucks extra it's a great place!

Best Chinese in Park Slope, but that's not saying much.

The chicken and pork dishes are ok. Avoid the beef and shrimp dishes. They make decent ribs and dumplings and stuff, and are fairly consistent, but it's basically American Chinese food. There's nowhere better in Park Slope, but if you have a car, go to Sunset Park.

    Had to throw it out

My family owned Americanized Chinese restaurants and growing up around it I was craving some nostalgic guay low Chinese food. After reading the ratings for this place I decided to try it out. All I can say is this is some of the worst food I've had Chinese or otherwise. I ordered a gen zhous chicken and the chicken was burnt and dry... The sauce was too salty and lacked any other type of flavor. Also ordered shrimp and vegetables and it was all corn starch and the shrimp tasted old... Almost like freezer burn. I never throw out food but did in this horrible showing of am chinese... What a disgrace!

    Actually delightful

For whatever reason, as a subset, Chinese restaurants tend to take certain liberties that other eateries wouldn't dare. For instance, why is your receipt written in Chinese? Why does the person who speaks the worst English answer the phone? Why is that person so often rude and impatient? Unlike many chiese restaurants in NYC the delightful people at this restaurant do not take their customers for granted. The other day, while ordering, I was so moved by the courtesy and professionalism that I had to thank the woman who takes the orders personally for being so personable. This place has great food and is a great experience over all. The fried rice is amazing as isthe honey crispy chicken. The general tso's chicken here is so beyond any other restaurant's that i've ever eaten that I became immediately hooked on the stuff.

    Best Chinese in the Slope

We order from this place whenever we're in the mood for Chinese. The Sha-cha Chicken is so delicious and a little spicy. Sesame chicken and general tsos are also delish. they're dumpling are also first rate. and the fried rice with everything in it is also suberb. really, anything we order from here we end up liking.

    Best food ever

I order here more than twice a wee!! The shrimp is worth the price, you get jumbo shrimp for your money, I also favor the house special( a mixture of all meats with tons of veg)
