Best sweet & sour pork!
I'm a fan! When I order delivery they're polite, fast and clear on the phone and food shows up quickly. Also major plus for me they deliver to Clinton Hill. They make the BEST sweet and sour pork I've found in Brooklyn. Huge pieces of clean, lean pork. The fried rice is great too.

Not too sure about this one...
Overall it was just okay - the scallion pancakes were too greasy for my liking (I couldn't finish the piece I tried, my husband ate all the others) The veggie chicken mushu was pretty good if not for the thick pancakes, more like flour tortilla than the airy thin rice pancakes I'm used to. The green bean with bean curd stood out as the best dish we ordered. Despite the mediocrity in the food we had I'll probably give them another try, see what else the menu has to offer. On the plus side the staff was friendly and attentive, providing timely service and the place itself was comfortable.

Not so good anymore
This place used to be my favorite chinese food in town but I am sad to say that the quality has severely declined over the years. I've lived in the north slope my whole life so I've tried all the different places, many times. What I realized is that when this place renovated a few years ago, that's when their quality started to decline, while their prices went up.

Consistently good, fresh Chinese food
Hunan Delight is basically the only good Chinese restaurant in Park Slope. I've never had a bad meal delivered from here, its not too greasy, arrives hot and is well priced.

Excellent Food
I agree with the prior review. There is simply no better Chinese restaurant in Park Slope. The food is outstanding and the service efficient. They only use white meat chicken and they readily accommodate special orders.

Shocked by any bad review
Wow! I am really shocked by some of the bad reviews on here. I have actually participated in a few taste tests between Hunan and other Park Slope Chinese favorites and I must say, there is absolutely no comparison. Even before I took a bite into the food, Hunan was the clear winner when comparing the color, texture, and smell. Their meat and chicken actually look and taste like meat and chicken. White meat people!! The veggies are crunchy and not drowning in sauce and goo. There may be better Chinese places outside of Park Slope, but for this area, Hunan stands alone as the best.
