Good for the value! The Chinese food is delicious here, but the sushi is below average so don't bother here. Never felt sick after eating here like I have at other local Chinese restaurtants. The delivery is fast, but its also got a decent area to eat in if you rather.

Food is always ready amazingly quickly (both for dine-in and take-out). Avoid the noodle soups. The dumplings are great, entrees mixed reviews. BUT! A place that serves both individually made sushi and other Japanese dishes, as well as a full Chinese menu, isn't a bad option for the neighborhood.

So I was looking for a different Chinese place in the area. I came across all these good reviews and gave it a try. I don't know what people are thinking saying this is a good place. Sure the food came in 5 minutes and its cheap, but my god. This was some of the worst Chinese I've ever had. Want to know how bad? I Couldn't even eat it. The chicken was rubber, the rice was hard and the broc wasnt fresh.

Food is always good and fresh. Service is fast and friendly. Willing to accomodate for dishes not on menu and for spice level. Very fast delivery.

Seriously, you won't order from another area Chinese place again, this will be your regular. Moo shu chicken, mongolian beef, chicken & broccoli, and their special jade chicken are all fantastic scallion pancakes usually on point as well, and very, very good cold noodles and shumai or shrimp dumplings. I can't think of any bomb I've ever ordered, and the delivery is unbelievably quick. Only drawback I ever had was General Tso's chicken not being saucy enough (definitely not swimming in sauce like most places), so I asked for more the next time done. I have been delighted since the day I stumbled on the great reviews on here and gave them a try I've lived in the area for 6 years and never before had a favorite neighborhood Chinese takeout. Every other place was just OK until a dish was really gross and then it was back to trying a new place. Oh, and they give you green salad w/ ginger dressing and an orange with every order, if that turns you on.

Hunan Delight is my favorite local chinese restaurant for delivery. The delivery service is amazingly fast and the food is excellent. I haven't been to the restaurant, so I can't comment on the atmosphere. I think Hunan Delight is an exceptional value for the area. I love Rachel's Soup, a vegetable and tofu soup with clear broth. I just tried their beef with tomatoes, which was very good too. Their lunch specials are a great value. For only $6 or so, you get the dish, soup, rice (no extra charge for brown rice!), AND an egg roll. Most other places in the neighborhood give you a choice of soup or egg roll, and charge extra for the rice. If you like to eat healthy, the steamed make your own dishes are a great standby. The staff is always friendly and they always get the order right and remember everything including extra sauces, chop sticks, plasticware, etc.

We ordered from Hunan Delight after reading reviews here, and have never been disappointed. Their prices are very reasonable, and nearly every dish we've gotten has been delicious. It's not exactly gourmet, but if you like take-out Chinese, you won't be disappointed. The Grand Marnier shrimp are a personal favorite of mine (very rich!). Portions are very generous. The only downside is that we usually need to wait about 45 minutes to get a delivery. If we plan ahead it's no problem, though.
