    Unsatisfied

The atmosphere @ the restaurant is awesome but the delivery service is poor. Will never order by phone again

    Not recommended

The food is consistently greasy, unappetizing, unauthentic and generally, unhealthy. Why can't the UWS have at least one Chinese restaurant whose food is fresh and rings true of at least one of the many mainland regions.

    Don't bother!

Just received my delivery and even though I was starving to death, I couldn't even eat it. Sesame chicken was basically overcooked chicken floating in water with some sesame seeds. Dumplings were like eating pork flavored dog food stuffed in a thick gym sock. Lomein was greasy watery noodles and totally over cooked. Ugh. Do not order from this restaurant, not even if you're starving and desperate! Waste of money!

    What Happened?

This was my go-to chinese takeout restaurant since moving to the UWS. I haven't eaten here all summer and now I'm left wondering if they changed cooks or something because the food I ordered today was tastless and one dish was inedible. The cashew chicken, my favorite dish, is now undercooked and the sauce was excessively sour. The lo mein my friend tried was tasteless. The bubble tea was more sugar than tea. I just can't figure out why over one summer the food changed so much. I hope if you order from here, your experience is not like mine. As for me, I'll be looking for a new place for chinese takeout.

    Good lunch specials

good deal for lunch specials. food is very inconsistent but never had anything terrible. 20 minute wait for delivery. delivery boys just stand there in the lobby waiting for someone to approach them. be specific when you give them your room number because they seem to assign one room to one address building. bubble tea tapioca sometimes tastes sub par.

    Way downhill

I used to order from here all the time. I ordered from here today and it was unappetizing. They must have a new chef because the food tasted totally different. Their chicken fried rice is usually great. This time, it was bland and missing bean sprouts. I also ordered general tso's chicken and it was chewy and tasteless. Never again, I have learned my lesson.

I agree- good place gone down

I have been ordering from Hunan for YEARS and it was always (well almost) great. For the past few months it has been disappointing. I thought it was an off night or a random occurrence but I just can't even eat the food they send anymore. The chicken is unappetizing in any dish you get along with everything else. It is a shame to see a great place go bad. Only thing that is still OK is the fried rice.
