Difficult Order
It is extremely difficult to order Israeli food from employees who don't understand the pronunciation of the food on the menu.

Too Expensive
Wile the food tastes great here, the value is absurd. I ordered an eggplant appetizer the other day and it literally was two small bites of eggplant for $4.00. Crazy. Fill up the container and I might order it again. Also I asked for a small condiment of hot sauce and they charged me! everything on the menu is just a bit too expensive for what it is.

cheap ripoff
visited Hummus Place for a quick tasty lunch. Supposedly cheap, but actually a ripoff if you consider the size of plates. When the aubergine appetizer arrived we just burst out laughing - could not believe that somebody would serve such a tiny portion. As far as the quality goes, it was just very bad.

Best Hummus in NYC
Great Hummus here! the place is usually crowded but they serve your orders very quickly and the place has a good vibe.. The reason to go here is, DUH....the HUMMUS! Ive eaten hummus all over israel, the best israeli and arab versions and Hummus Place is the closest you will get to that quality in the US. I challenge anyone to give me a better hummus in NYC...

Less than average
I ate at this restaurant the other night and all I could say is that I was not impressed. I love hummus and have eaten in almost all the hummus places around the city and this one is definately less than average. Nothing special at all and there is not much to order on the menu. I would not go back there again and would not recommend it. There are MUCH better ways to spend your money in the city.

Best Vegeterian Middle Eastern Food
I am a regular at this place and every friend I take along absolutely fall in love with nyc food starting with this. Their pita bread is soo soft and layered, the falafel is average i would say. The highlight of the place is Shakshuka with the sheep cheese, which is a middleeastern salsa kindf dish and it is a HUGE HIT! i love their house dessert-KADAIF, which is fine semolina and halwa with warm ricotta and date syrup... yumm my mouth waters as I think of the food! The service is very good and I feel like I am in a home kitchen there, totally belonging!!

Yummy!!
I love this place! Delicious!! Very fast, accurate delivery. I gave 5 stars on atmosphere because I only get takeout so I don't feel qualified to say otherwise. It's truly yummy food and I'm happy they're in the neighborhood. The baclava is good too.
