Amazing Hummus
I had the hummus platter, and it was amazing, you could taste the freshness of the hummus. I also had the shish kebab in laffa, it was amazing. The laffa shish kebab was better than the on from Olympic Pita, and way cheaper. It was overall a great restaurant.

Walk in for mainly hummus!
When I first came here to hummus kitchen with a friend, we shared a hummus kitchen platter. It was really delicious! The prices for the hummus are very good and the portions are suitable for what's being paid. Keep in mind that you should avoid the chicken there! I had the red midditterrean chicken and it was horrible! The chicken wasn't cooked properly and it was pricey (luckily I wasnt paying for it). When ordering this dish you'd have in mind chicken that was fried in red sauce with fried rice placed with cheap peas, but it was a soupy tomatoe dish with chicken in the middle and rice given separately! Waiting to go back to get hummus though and falafel! And the Shish kebab looked yummy...

Poor service
Went today for the first time for lunch-and I definitely won't be going back. The waiter didn't bring water for at least 20 minutes. Got my friend's appetizer wrong, got my entree wrong, brought the check without us asking for it (a major no no) and before we were done ordering. Oh and our waiter completely forgot the man at the table next to us' order. Definitely the worst service I've ever experienced, especially for a small restaurant that was half empty during lunch. There are plenty of other amazing restaurants in NYC-you will get much better service at any one of those.

Not recommended
Ordered from this restaurant yesterday. Everything was tasteless. Cous Cous Tabule was charged at 4:50 but portion size was pretentious. Falafal Lalfa was of good size but really unappetizing. I don't remember having such disappointing Mediterranean food before.

What a bust
I'm always venturing along 9th checking out all the new in- coming eateries...for 15 bucks (lunch special?) we ordered the morrocan wrap. along with this wrap, the waiter tells us we are getting a great deal as any side is free of charge. first off, 15 bucks is not considered a lunch special in my book-(with or without the very unappetizing hummus dish. the food was bland all around. i won't be back.

Stay Away
This place was an excellent choice but service has turned from good to not. The waitress always responds with a snap and food is delivered in a mad rush. The last time I had tea there, as I had the last sip, the waiter took the cup from my hands (and almost from my lips) to clear it up. Not a good experience - will not go back.

Excellent Hummus
The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. We get take out from here a lot. There was only one time our hummus wasn't so good (tasted not too fresh) but we continue to order from here because other than that they are consistent with good and fresh food. Delivery very fast too. You can also order it by the pound for parties!
