Crispy and flavorful falafel. Best in the area.

Food was promised in 30-45 mins and did not show up 2 hrs later. When I called, they put me on hold for 5 mins, so I called again and was told it already left - untrue as it didn't come even 45 minutes after that phone call. When I called again they would repeatedly not pick up intentionally as my name showed up on the id. When I called from my friend's cell phone, they immediately picked up and when they realized it was me, they yelled at me and then hung up. Never had poorer service ordering in NYC.

you read about this place and think, "wow, sounds great!" in reality, i was disappointed. i go in and they're playing dubstep in a very mellow scenery. the two contradicted each other. basically, the only thing decent on the menu was the hummus. it wasn't even the best hummus i tasted. but the hummus is generally by itself, with a few slices of pita bread on the side. i wouldn't call it a meal. on top of that, their other meals lacked the spices and zing most middle eastern meals have. it was quite bland and the chicken served was quite dry. that's a shame, since the menu is based off of chicken and hummus. anyway, i don't recommend it. sure, the people are nice and quite charismatic, but the food is just not worth it.

Great place for a quick lunch. Casual atmosphere with great food and service. If you like hummus this place is the best (and one of the best falafel I've had in NYC)!
