Hudson view had decent hours, and they make eggs all day every day. simply put everyneighborhood needs a diner and Hudson View is the only one around with real hours and unform service. The food also keeps getting better over time. when they first opened their french fries were miserable and now they are decent to good. Say what you will about them, they learn from their customers.

My Review is based on Deliver Experiences: They are very overpriced for average meals at best. The food quality is good but it's never the food you ordered. Their salads come with ingredients that aren't suppose to be there, and they don't give you the ingredients you ask for. If you ever order a "side" of fries, you'll be lucky to get more then 7 fries. I feel as if the chefs are half asleep when they put together these take out orders. I'd stay away from this seriously overpriced establishment.

Okay. First of all its a Diner. I believe you should only get breakfast or sandwiches at a diner. Second, its a diner, so don't expect anything more from the food. With that said... I FREAKIN' LOVE THIS PLACE! I moved into the neighborhood a year ago from the W70s and was SO HAPPY to finally find a place with Challah French toast. Breakfast meats are nothing extra special, but they are good. I only wish they had grits. The staff Ive encountered is super friendly. Real sweet, soft spoken girl. I work in a restaurant myself, and their dining room is always clean. Only bad things are: They are a little pricey, but what do you expect when you are too lazy to cook yourself. They wont deliver the Challah French Toast (or anything) down to the 160s. They dont have grits on the menu.

I keep ordering from here every few months because it's the only diner in the hood and because I see people in there all the time and keep hoping it's gotten better. And lo and behold every time it's worse than before! And I beg my wife to promise me that she wont ever let me order from there again! I must be a glutton. Hello sir, I'd sure love some more of that overpriced garbage with a side of %£+> on a cold paper plate! Em hmm yummy! Don't worry that I scream and yell after taking one bite of your frozen gruel you call a special and then wing it as hard as I can into my kitchen trashcan only to hear that knowing rumble a half hr later that warns you that troubles ahead. The one saving grace is the staff. They are always super friendly and punctual. Thank you for that. Just please do something about the fare.

I have eaten here quite a few times. I always find the staff courteous and efficient! The food is good and generous for the price!!

The breakfast isn't too bad but everything else is overpriced for average diner food.

I live in up here Washington Heights - and LOVE ordering breakfast to have it delivered from Hudson View. Their eggs and turkey sausage are great...and their challah French toast is out of this world!! Def. give their breakfast a try!! :)
