I've been here several times, and have never been disappointed. The food is good, the portions huge, and the prices reasonable. If you want good, inexpensive Italian, this is just the place!

I am an old time fan of this place. I order takeout on a regular basis and visit occasionally. The food is always excellent - - and quality for the dollar is top notch. Service when dining in is so-so. Went for brunch recently and while the service was friendly when the order was taken, the waiter was MIA afterwards, and we had to flag someone down to get our bill. This was a minor annoyance, but noticed. Takeout is excellent, soups are superb and the food is packed well and delicious. Recommend the Seafood Ceaser Salad which comes with hot seafood packed separately (and is abundant!), as I mention all soups, the Lobster Club (a bargain but beware of the bread - can be on rubbery baguet) and all comfort food. PS- The sweet lady who answers the phone for takeout always says "half an hour" but it is never that long.

I choose this place for its location, just about one block from my hotel. It didn't disappoint me, though. Actually, very good food for a honest price. Would eat there again.

the atmosphere and the food make you believe your tab is going to be off the charts but its not! REALLY well priced and cozy. i total gem in an area filled with just bars and sushi joints.

Very friendly waitstaff that was somewhat attentive. Food was good but my pork chops were somewhat dry. Apple pie dessert was delicious.

The food was so-so, as was the service. I had the walnut-encrusted tuna salad. The tuna itself was good, but the chef went WAY overboard with the capers and olives, so it killed the salad. The restaurant was almost empty (we went for lunch during an ice-storm), yet the service was still slow and unfriendly. Great atmosphere, though. I wouldn't go again.

I always enjoy the food, as I've been there several times. However, the service is absolutely atrocious. I went to brunch with my two friends today, and we had to flag down a waiter for EVERYTHING. By everything, I mean my friend has to ask two different waiters for a Coke, and after waiting another twenty minutes, was forced to ask the manager. Only then did he receive his drink. The food took forever to arrive, as did the check. At the end of the meal, we told the manager that he needs to sit down with his waitstaff and teach them how to 1. communicate effectively with the customers and 2. properly wait tables.
