    theres no better place

i love the food especially the roast chicken! the service was great and the atmosphere was so nice, the one at w 53rd st had a nice jazz band, just a nice place to go and have drinks, and have great food, i could not ask for more, except open more around the 5 boroughs like staten island! hint hint! love that place! if you have not gone there its worth the trip. good prices good people.

    I'm a Regular

Houston's has been our "old standby" for about a year now and it's awesome every time. Food quality is always excellent, but service - although very friendly - can be spotty because they are always so busy. I definitely recommend the burger.

    Gr8 food

Ive been going to Houston's for a few years now and the great quality of food has never changed. I went to the one in long island a few times and once a month my co worker and i go to the one on park ave (across the street from our office). The steak is great, the drinks are great, the spinach dip is addicting. I will continue to go there. The price of the food is definately up there but it is well worth it.

Best steak I've eaten in years

And incredible filet mignon. Like butter and delicious. Stopped at the bar first for a few drinks before dinner and even though it was ver crowded we had no trouble getting served. Service was excellent and the food was brought out with perfect timing. What a great place that I can't wait to visit again.

Compliments to the chefs, not the staff

If you're looking for great food this is the place. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the service as well as the management. This place won't take reservations for more than 6 and the management just doesn't seem to care about customer satisfaction. If you're looking for a good bottle of wine, stay away. They uncork all their bottles of wine beforehand. The reason, "efficiency."

    Love the ribs

I have had my first Houston's experience in FL. And I loved it. I live in NY and the closest one is about 1 1/2 hrs away.... I do make the trip at lease twice a month, just for the ribs! They are the best and only ribs I would ever order anywhere!

    A lovely meal

The veggie burger and vegetable platter were wonderful. Most restaurants treat vegetarians like second class citizens and barely offer palatable alternatives for non-meat eaters. It's embarassing when I have to "create" a vegetarian meal from the meat offerings at many places. The food was fresh, thoughtful and tasty and the presentation was very nice. The restaurant was a little dark for my tastes but the food was excellent and the server was respectful and quick. Go early for dinner on the weekend because there is a wait.
