A restaurant that actually gives you what you want. If you ask for something they actually get it for you, in a timley manner I might add. Great food prepared simply, what more could you ask for. Service is always friendly and helpful. Now if I could only get a table I'd be all set.

A "nice" experience in general - food is good but a little ordinary, and the bar is seriously loud and very young, especially right after work. Service is outstanding - our server was delightful, took back a heavily sauced entree for unsaucing with no questions asked. One young, arrogant, extraordinarily self-important maitre'd/manager type, complete with headset (as if he were managing the catwalk at Fashion Week) was a rather unpleasant counterbalance - he gave me and my dining companion several nasty hurry-up glances after our dishes were cleared and the check came. The food generally was good - great mushroom soup! - though the much-lauded fries were a greasy inedible lump. Good as a neighborhood joint, but don't go out of your way.

Houston's is incredible! Spinach artichoke dip, ribs, burgers a must! Consistantly great food, amazing service. If you don't try Houston's you are missing out!

I went here to eat with my Father for an early dinner. The Soup du Jour, or Baked Potato soup [Tuesdays] was deliciously exquisite. Then for an entree I had the Biltmore Chicken Sandwich which was served on a sesame seed bun and Monterey Jack cheese. My Father had the French Dip. Both meals had a variety of side orders such as mashed/baked potatoes and rice, but we both opted for the shoestring french fries. All in all, I'm not a very good reviewer but the meals were delicious. Would definetely recommend.
