I met a friend here for dinner and I was totally impressed. The atmosphere was wonderful. The restaurant is beautiful! And the food my goodness... I ordered the crab cakes and they were to die for. The Best! If you ever make it to NYC this is the place to try. Its worth the trip.

I recently paid Houston's a visit this weekend for the very first time. The restaurant is the absolute best. The atmosphere made me speechless, it is so romantic. The jazz band made the atmosphere very relaxing. That was the best part of my birthday present. The Ribs, my goodness what can I say.....they fell right off of the bone. I most definitely will be back, SOON!

I eat at Houstons way too often, a minimum of once a week at either the Park or 3rd Avenue locations. What keeps me coming back? Its simple, the ribs and caesar salad. I've been eating those ribs for years and I havent been able to find such a delicious treat anywhere else. Add in usually fantastic service and you won't be dissapointed. Just do me a favor and get the ribs.

I've been to Houston's more than i'd like to mention. The one thing that always keeps me coming back is the service. I've gotten to know the bartenders pretty well, and my drink makes it my seat before i do. And for a place that does the kind of volume that they do, it's nice to see that they care.

Houston's is my absolute favorite. No matter where else I go, I still long for the good, classy American food this place consistently shows up. The atmosphere is dim but still appropriate for a business lunch. The weekend atmosphere is appropriate for a date night. Order the flying chicken (not on the menu). Simply the best!

After being turned away on the phone at about 8 steak restaurants on a Saturday night we lucked into "let's see if they have any cancellations" as we walked by. Well no set reservations helped. A short wait later we were at a table of the restaurant we'd hoped to find. Great service, great food, good price. This is an excellent choice for any occasion. And to a transplant from MN I've come to expect poor treatment of wild rice in any other state. Not here! Get the wildrice side, it's a new treatment to a classic salad. The ribs were pretty dang good too. Come hungry.

There is something unique about Houston's beef- it is packed with flavor. Seared to perfection with those delicious, shoestring fries and you can't go wrong. Start with the spinach dip and a martini in their frosted glasses and you have the perfect lunch.
