Fast Food Quality
I recently visited Houstons in NYC. It is now Hillstone. Great atmosphere, but the food is so boring and poorly prepared. We ordered chicken that looked like someone dumped a can of beans on it. My daughter,s salad had a small piece of chewy tuna and the lettuce looked as if it came right out of a bag. I will sit st the bar and enjoy the atmosphere - but eat before you get there. Not worth the price tag

Best American Casual Dining in town
Houston's is absolutely one of the best American restaurants in New York. The chicken finger platter that is not on the menu is amazing. I have been going to Houston's restaurants for over 10 years in FL, GA, CA, NY, NJ, etc. The Midtown East one is for sure my favorite. I have never had any problems at this or any Houston's ever.

Great. I wish there was one in chesapeake virginia we could use a real resturant here. I almost moved back to nyc after eating at the resturant. See what an effect you had on me

spinich dip to die for literally..i swear !
OMG... so my friend kept telling me about this place an awww man was she right I think a payday is the best time to go so you can really enjoy yourself b/c they are a little pricey but its all worth it. The wine selection is marlevous....the spinich dip is so good you'll slap your mother and father...heck maybe even your grandma..lol...the atmosphere is dime lighting live jazz its awesome man nice spot to relax or impress someone....wink wink.....I cant wait to go again... I might sneak back for some spinich dip you'll get hooked like crack man! becareful lol!

A-1...atmosphere too!
Food is good, basic, and unpretentious. I really love the decor and atmosphere...there's always a great jazz trio playing and jazzing up the bar scene! I think it's great for a first date...not too expensive, but has a sophisticated feel....plus everything is good...from the french dip sandwich to the hamburger to the thai tuna salad.

Loved the atmosphere - underground, cozy, low lighting, feels like a conspiracy. Best waitstaff, great food, cool.

The Best BBQ Ribs!
The Ribs are so tender they fall off of the bone, and you must have the cole slaw! My boyfriend had the steak and that was tasty too! Nice atmosphere with the live music. It's a little dark so bring your flash light...lol.
