Great Bacon Gorgonzola Burger
I have been working in the Garment District for over a decade and have walked by Houndstooth on my way to Penn St over a 100 times with out noticing it due to the scaffolding. Co-workers, friends and I decided to meet prior to the Pearl Jam concert at MSG. We had a great time, great food and terrific service despite the place busting at the seams. We will be back!

Not worth it
Had dinner with a friend last week and I ordered the tomato "heirloom" salad. What i got was 2 slices of a red tomato, 2 slices of a yellow tomato, and a sprinkling of blue cheese. Not gorgonzola as advertised. Nothing "heirloom" was within a mile of this salad. $11 for about 85 cents of food, not worth it.

Windsor
Arrived from Windsor Eng in May and had yet to find a comfortable pub in mid-town w good food until popping into Houndstooth after work last week....spot on. Great fish n' chips, decor, atmosphere & lovely staff! Cheers

Best After Work Spot in the Fashion District
Pre garden, Pre penn station or port authority, or just after work...Houndstooth is the spot. My friends and I have been many times and realized the gem we've discovered. Drinks are well priced and well sized. At this point we've tried the entire menu and it's a treat to have fresh, well prepared apps and entrees. The space is clean and classic, tv's are plentiful and new models for catching a game. A great oasis from the crowds in that neighborhood.
