Good food, nice place, poor takeout service
I've ordered takeout on occasion and eaten several times at the restaurant, always order the same thing. Nice place to eat, good service on site, food consistent and flavorful. Unfortunately, when I ordered takeout recently--the same thing I've ordered several times at the restaurant--the guy taking my order said they never serve it that way and copped a major attitude when I explained I'm a regular and have ordered the same thing many times. Sorry Hop Hap. It was nice while it lasted, but there are far too many decent Thai restaurants in the area where the food is as good and served without a side of attitude.

Authentic but approachable
Hophap may tone down the fire for american palates, but they dont sacrifice the rest of the flavors.

Best Thai in the neighborhood
I probably eat here once a week! I am yet to be disappointed. All their noodle dishes are amazing! The emerald green curry with zucchini and eggplant, yum! Their soups, salads, and appetizers honestly are all good! I love the papaya salad and five star dumplings! Everything is cheap and good which is nice for CG.

Not Good at All
it was rated 5 stars. must be friends of hophap... The goood is weak. Joya way fresher and the other thai place around are way fresher. Pad Thai was dry dry dry. go else where

HopHap is the best!
I had a party with my friends last night. We started with amazing mojito for our drink. Thanks HopHap, they recommended a very delicious meal for our dinner. We fell in love with everything, especially duck apple salad and seafood padthai tomyum, the taste were wow more than what I can say. A must try! Anyone that asks me where they should go for dinner, I always tell them Hophap because I really believe that they are the best. Just go, you would not be disappointed.

I luv Thai food in this place
My best Thai Food choice in NY. So yummy and not so expensive. and also the service is good!
