    Best diner/bar dive in town

Hip. Loved loved the banana cream pie with gobs of real unsweetened whipped cream, chorizo quesadillas. The turkey burger with avocado, cheddar and tomatoes wonderful. All for about 12 cents!

    Satisfied

This comfortable establishment was a pleasant surprise. Meal was relaxed, food fine and prices very affordable. No complaints. Worth a stop when in Red Hook.

    Great food, Poor Service

The first time we came here, I was in love with the place. The atmosphere is adorable from their menus to the chalkboard walls to the music. The food was delicious too. Only problem - the service was not good at all. Super slow and "too cool" for us. It was a shame, but the food was so good, we tried it again this weekend. Ugh. It makes me sad but I will never go back. I didn't think the service could be worse than the first time, but I was wrong. Our waiter took about 20 minutes to come to our table to take our order, and when he finally showed up he said "dude...I was up all night last night....ha ha ha". He proceeded to totally mess up our order, and while again the food was good, it wasn't what we asked for. And it was slow. And our server thought it was really funny that he was such a poor server. At least he was having fun. We won't return.

    Great Place!

Great everything except desserts. Chocolate cake was dry and brownies had a strange taste.

    Great Place!

We found this place by accident while going to the new Fairway in Red Hook. We were hungry and figured why not give it a try. Boy was it worth it! The food is FRESH, no doubt and the atmosphere is cool and serene. The wait staff are extremely friendly and courteous and helpful. We have been going back ever since..mostly for breakfast which is well worth the trip. Nice place and nice people with NO attitude!

    Best in Class

This is the real thing, a genuine neighborhood place with its own style and flawless execution of what it chooses to do. Great moderately priced diner fare, plenty of vegetarian choices, wicked mixed drinks and great beer list. Highly recommended.
