Informal lunch, and even more informal attire
Landed after a long trip in from Sydney and bumped into this place after dropping my bags in my hotel and looking for an informal lunch spot. Being a long time Hootie and the Blowfish fan I did not hestate to cross the threshold! Well, they were not playing a Hootie song when I entered, and the atmosphere was more sports bar than pub (I was the only single lady.) But I decided to make this trip an adventure and stayed. My meal was a hamburger, and of course some hot American wings! And lots of beer. I enjoyed it, even if my wait person was completely inappropriately dressed in some clothing so tight and small it looked as though it was meant for a doll! Several beers in I simply no longer cared, and even removed the silk scarf around my neck to cool myself off! I told the hotel concierge all about my find and not surprisingly he said he frequesnts the place too. The best places never stay a secret!

Great Food
Went there with 7 friends and had a blast. Our waitress, Shannon even poured our beer for us. Great food at a great price. I will definitely be going there again.

My Happy Place
I've been coming here for years and usually after a bad day at work. Had my 40th birthday party here last year and the ladies were so sweet to my 80 plus year old grandmother had to tip even more. Even brought in New Year's here a few years ago too. Ladies, keep doing what you're doing and I'll always come back. Thank you!

Wings and Girls
Yo, went in after seeing something about it on the news. It was aight..... the tmi wing were hot and wet. The girl was great nice and stacked if you know what i mean.

neglected
i dont know if we were neglected because we were such a large group or if there were not enough servers. but the service here definitely needs to be better. we had to request things many times before she got it all to us. we weren't giving her a hard time or anything but she wasn't following our requests. they were very hesitant in taking our order, helping us out. the wings here were extremely small and extremely dried up. theres nothing special about hooters except if you want to see semi pretty girls walking around in orange shorts and tight shirts. defintely do not recommend. the tips were automatically calculated into the bill as well. undeserving

What you expect
I've been to a couple of Hooters around the world and it's a pretty safe bet if you like this kind of place. Food is decent and pretty much consistent whichever Hooters you might go to. Packed on Sundays for Football. Decent food for a decent price.

Better than most...
Ok. It's still Hooters. But this is a really good one! The waitresses are friendly, the wings are good and cheap, and pitchers of lousy beer are the cheapest that I've found in NYC. This is a fun place to go post work if you have an easy going office atmosphere. As Hooters go, this is the best I've ever been to.
