thumbs up for value
i think these reviews are misleading for people... the food is good for the prices. i would rather prices go up then quality go down. i'm from hk and i know its authentic. that may not mean much to everyone but i appreciate it. for those who think its expensive. yah maybe compared to the 1.25 streetcarts that sell lo mein. that is def not authentic anything. keep in mind they do have to pay for rent and u can use the bathroom. something to think about when u buy stuff off a cart, where are u going to pee?

Quick, tasty and reasonably priced
Times are rough and things are more expensive. With tax and tip included what are people expecting the prices to be like? I enjoyed my bowl of udon with mushrooms, beef stew and spinach. i can tell that the ingredients are fresh and i would rather pay extra for that then get discount wilted veggies and questionable meats... it is a business and not a soup kitchen if u want cheap eats maybe u should stay home with a cup o' noodle.

GO back to OLD prices!!!
every item has increased from a dollar to 1.25 and up. It might not seem like a huge increase but who would want to pay 1.25 for 5 fish balls?? For 4.50 all i got was udon, fish balls, beef tripe. Normally before the prices were changed.. for all those items i pay 3 dollars. Prices need to decrease or their in crisis of losing business

They need one in Brooklyn.
Their stuff is so good. I'm a pretty big eater but I only had 2 toppings with my noodles and I was stuffed. (At least, until I saw a HUGE crab in another restaurant.. but that's a different story). It was sort of hard understanding the workers but they figured out what I wanted straight away and gave me my noodles within minutes. The quality of the food was certainly much better than what greasy stuff a normal Chinese restaurant/delivery has, and it was pretty satisfying. Not too much, not too little. And I love how the prices go. Totally want to go there again... probably today, haha. They need to have more around the boroughs.

The Pluses and the Minuses
This place is super fun if you want a kind of safe food adventure. They've got weird stuff you can put in your noodles but also some safe bets. I got Spam, fish cakes, mushrooms, spring rolls and greens with my cooked noodles. With a soda it came to like $7.50. Awesome deal. My friend got similar stuff and had a coconut milkshake that was super good. While the service was a bit abrupt, it kind of added to the atmosphere. Both are probably inflated in my rating, though, as I think I found it more entertaining than the average harried luncher. It was not crowded and I was in a good mood on Sunday. The atmosphere also got an extra point because the bathroom is awesome. Cool close-up photos of the food adorn the walls of the spacious, clean water closet.

Agree with the other guy it won't fill up
You pay $1 for each topping. Those ingredients are really inexpensive, but they give you unbelievably tiny bits for each toppings. I mean come on, $1 for 3 fish balls? You can buy the whole pack for the same price at any Chinese market. With limited & cramped seatings, this place is less than satisfactory.

Good for the price
Really liked the price. The noodles were great. Enough food for me. Good choice of toppings.
