Nice change from the "regular" variety of restaurants in Chinatown! No wait-service, you choose whatever and how much of it you want, choose your sauces, if any, pay, and go to your selected table and Chow Away!! Great variety of available items, prepared right there in front of you, and I mean Quickly!! No tipping of the usual kind, since there's no waiter, tho you may wish to throw a little something in the counter-girls' tip-cup. In winter, the aromas from the small hot-food stand set up, street-style, right in front of the restaurant are most appetizing when you're up or down the street and they hit your senses...makes you hungry, whether you've just eaten or not!

Quite good. Went with coupon, but great value even without discount. You get a noodle, soup and toppings and condiments/sauce. Udon in chicken broth with mushrooms plenty of good big shiitakes, fresh choy, tofu was excellent; much MSG, but almost all Chinese food uses it. Very sweet mango green tea. Other order was ho fun (wide flat) in beef broth excellent, hearty, beefy, with beef stomach very tough, beef stew very fatty, choy excellent, fresh, plenty with soda. Sides included OK sticky rice and tasty pan fried e-noodles. Enough for 4 people with big appetites for about $28 (undiscounted). Self-serve, cafeteria style. Modern decor, hip atmosphere with big screen TVs tuned to Houston Rockets and Jeremy Lin in this Chinatown mini-chain restaurant. Well worth a visit.

I love the food here. The menu is very clear with its offerings and they play very soothing/nice music too! I like how brightly lit the place is and the wait staff are efficient and friendly.
