The food here is tasty, however, you have long delivery times. Once they messed up my order and not only did they have an attitude to send me the right food, but it took forever to come. So make sure you order from them when you are just hungry, and not starving...

I ordered dinner on New Year’s day and it took nearly 1 ½ hours for my food to be delivered! I only live 3 blocks away, but didn’t want to brave the cold. When I called to make sure my order wasn’t lost, the person answering the phone wasn’t at all helpful. She even sounded annoyed that I’d called to check on my order (which I’d already waited an hour for). I know that holidays are busy, but it would’ve been nice to be warned about the lengthy wait or to at least hear an apology for it. This lack of customer service is so unacceptable. Even for a hole in the wall carry-out.

I order from this place all the time. The food is fantastic for the value. Only once before did it take longer than 20 minutes to get my food. They just kept me waiting over 45 minutes for a delivery order. When I called to get the status on the order I was told "we are very busy here. 15 more minutes". They were actually suggesting it was acceptable to keep someone waiting an hour for a delivery order without informing them of a long wait ahead of time. I left to get the food myself! They kept me waiting at the restaurant because my food wasn't ready. Only because I was impatient and hungry did I get to eat. Who knows how much longer I'd be waiting if I didn't get the food myself. They apologized over and over again, but still expected me to pay full price without adding anything to my order to make up for the inconvenience. To top it all off, the meal was incomplete when I got it home. I didn't have the energy to tell them they screwed my order up. I'll definitely never eat there again. Hong Garden comes in second behind the MTA for customer service.

Yes, their English is a little bad but, for the price, you can't beat it. Cheap lunch specials and the dinner specials are enormous and also a great value. Plus, they have Crab Wontons!

I have only gotten delivery from this place but it does the trick. very fast delivery and the food is average. They take orders very quickly but there is a little bit of a language barrier. I do reccommend this place if you are in the mood for chinese and are in hamilton heights
