Order from here almost every day
this place is great for just about everything..order from here all the time over the last few years and it has always been perfect..their breakfasts are the best

A place
Good, hearty food. Generally doesn't get too fancy, hearty proletariat sandwiches, some baked goods in the front, ice cream, and the usual Boar's Head selection in the back with some potato salads, chicken salads, etc. The bacon is crispy and delicious, the sandwiches are great and melty and toasty, the guys will recognize you and say hi if you're there to pick up your morning coffee. I practically grew up around the place.... And little known secret: I don't know how they do it, but they have the best hot chocolate in New York City! Just plain hot chocolate heaven, Dylan's Candy Bar a few avenues away can't beat it, and at least this place won't charge you six bucks for one. The atmosphere is the usual, 3.0, because this isn't a restaurant, just a deli where you grab your food and go, but it's clean, well lit, and has a good selection, so no complaining either.

Excellent bare knuckles NYC Deli
Best Deli around this area, good guys work here and will make you anything under the sun...
