I've been a customer since my freshman year in highschool back in 2003. I always order 2 bacon cheeseburgers & they are delicious but I order pasta the other day & the sauce was out of a can. I still go back fo the burgers & highly recommend it but canned anything is a big no no in the restaurant world.

I ordered the Cheeseburger Deluxe and added specific instructions. The burger was cooked exactly how I asked. They sent the extra pickles, that I requested. And the delivery was speedy. Great spot for a NYC diner-style burger. Cheers.

I take my 2-year-old daughter here after her doctor visits. It's always consistently good, the wait staff is great and the prices reasonable. Nothing fancy but they do their job well here.

My wife and I went to the Hollywood Diner, corner of 6th and 16th last Sept when in Manhattan on our vacation, and we LOVED it... everything about it... especially the great, big-portioned meals we ate! We will be going back this September when we return to NYC for vacation, and have been recommending it to everyone we talk to that may be in Manhattan. (We are from Nova Scotia, Canada btw) We LOVE this place! :)

We ordered takeout from here online without having been to (or even seen) the diner before but I’d read decent reviews about it so I figured why not give it a try. We had chicken primavera pasta with chicken noodle soup and the chilli burger with fries, with a slice of strawberry shortcake to finish. First impression upon delivery: dude, these portions are massive! My husband thought the pasta was absolutely delicious but it all proved too much for him and he could only eat about half of it. The chilli burger was really tasty – the meat wasn’t greasy and the chilli was just hot enough to compliment the burger without overpowering it. The fries were a bit bland (just the usual, standard skinny fries you get everywhere) but I’m not really a fan of fries anyway. The strawberry shortcake was really nice too - really creamy and fruity. In general the food was good value and a good standard. I might try some other places in the area before I went back to Hollywood Diner again but I’m glad we gave it a go and I certainly wouldn’t rule out returning at some point in the future.

The place looks great...thats about it. The waitresses didn't know the menu at all. They never offered a refill and the french toast was gooey in the middle. I should have gone to IHOP instead.
