A little Better Service
The place looks great...thats about it. The waitresses didn't know the menu at all. They never offered a refill and the french toast was gooey in the middle. I should have gone to IHOP instead.

the wood = best diner in nyc
the wood is the best diner hands down. around they clock they constantly produce excellent meals. mac n' cheese is unreal as is their french onion soup. a must go.

Excellant!
We really liked this place. The burger was excellant as was the chicken stuffed with spinnach and mushroom. Would like to return during our next trip to NYC to try some more from their menu. Well worth a visit!

They have what you're in the mood for
I'm a weekly visitor. I've run the gamut of the menu and am never disappointed. If you like: moussaka, roasted chicken, fried liver, pancakes, mushroom & cheese omelette, tuna melt, chef's salad or the greatest twin burger, you're in the right place. Where can you find a great baked potato at noon? Order two w/sour cream and make a meal of it!

My Favorite Diner...Soon To B Yours Too!
this diner is ... AMAZiNG!The waiters are personable, the food is great (and served fast), the location is Perfect!What more do you need? ...The grilled chicken deluxe is my personal favorite. The turkey club is another favorite among my friends and I. The chicken is seasoned well and their fries are mouth watering!Since it's open 24 hours that's our first stop right after the club. While we are there (frequently with a large crowd) we are never pressured to "hurry up and order" we are allowed to relax, talk or joke at our leisure.The ONLY thing that could make this diner better is if they had frequent flyer cards to get a free meal or drink if you've visited more than 10x's a month or something. lololol

Great place
Everything about this place is geat...food, service, atmosphere, and speedy delivery. Great outdoor dining too! Wouldn't trade this dinner for any other place.
