Not happy!
We live in the neighborhood and had a business brunch on a Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. First, the music was so loud and techno. I inquired about it to our very full of attitude and I do not care waiter who informed me that the music was a "set Level" and there was nothing to be done. This was one of the rare times we saw our rude waiter. It took about 15 minutes to get our coffee. Thanks to our bus boy who took care of us. I was hoping , the host, would help, but he was too busy doing runway and dancing choreography to the loud techno music to take note. So sad about all of this because the food was great! Sorry chef! Your staff blew it and lost you some great customers!

Great Drinks - Lots of Traffic Noise
The food was fine, but I had the best drink of my life here: the cucumber martini! It was delicious. The server was great. The menus (kind of sticky) and the place could use a good cleaning. But cute decor. A lot of traffic noise. But who cares after a few of those delicious martinis. I would go back!

Great Gourmet Delivery
I've ordered the chicken club from HK several times--the food is fresh, tastes great and, so far, is delivered relatively fast. I usually opt for fries with a club but I substituted in their spinach salad and that was no regret. I rank this place high, along with Cafe 31st, in my area of 34th Street. Never been to the actual location. There are so many mediocre places aroud 34th that it's great to have a place that delivers fresh and tasty food.

Disapponted
I had the unfortunate experience of having brunch on a Saturday morning at this establishment. the service was good but the food was awful. I ordered the Grilled Chicken club sandwich and was disgusted to bite into my sandwach only to find numerous bones in the piece of chicken.......needless to say I ate very little of the sandwich.....the salad garnish was nice though...won;t be returning her any time soon.

Great Restaurant!
beautiful restaurant, warm staff. my husband and I have been here many times and it never lets us down. with so many restaurants to choose from we always go back. the food is fabulous and the staff is very professional but not snooty. it is one of our favourites. prices i feel are very reasonable . give it a try you will not be disapointed. desserts always look like a work of art.

Are They Serious?
I had the unfortunate displeasure of having brunch today at HK. First of all, the attitude is so obnoxious by patrons AND the staff alike. If you don't look a certain way or are over a certain age demographic, you are crap in their eyes. The service was awful. If they think that you are not a drinker, they ignore you until your food comes. You might as well as go take a walk and come back, since your food will probably take about 30 minutes to arrive. And, when it does, it will be cold and inferior. I ordered oatmeal: I could NOT believe that they actually took plain oats that you get from Pathmark and tried to make this bowl look fancy to compensate for the inferior quality! And, this is $6.95!! If I were the wait staff, I'd be embarrassed to serve this to anyone. I will NEVER go back again! The only thing that arrived timely was the check, mind you. And, they don't take credit cards for brunch, which they don't tell you upfront. The waiter who served us was so full of attitude. He has to remember that he's just an employee there: he doesn't own it, so he can cut the attitude.
