Elegant setting with amazing menu. I had the eggplant (off of the nightly specials menu) to start, which was delicious. Really well flavored with a beautiful presentation. The Washu beef was also delicious. My friends raved about their meals as well. The soy milk pudding was a simple, but satisfying end to the meal. The whole meal is served in beautiful ceramic dishes, which are from the chef's home town. Lots of subtle details like this make Hirohisa stand out. Really really looking forward to my next meal there.

I had a 7 course Omakase last night. It was a dream-like experience! The food was so amazing... everything tasted very wonderful, they all came with beautiful presentation on different nice Japanese plates. I especially love deep fried fish with white miso sause, grilled Wagyu beef & Mackrel hako sushi. The service was nice & very polite, it was a 7 dishes-course but actually they served us 10 dishes. (3 were on the house) The place is not big, just 7 tables (for 2), a bar counter & a open-kitchen - but each tables have enough space. Very clean, nice atmosphere. This hidden restaurant in SoHo is a gem of NYC! I'll definaely keep going back. Bit expensive, but it's worth.
