great food, really inexpensive lunch menu

i love everything about this restaurant although i miss Gama so much. (Their Bibimbap was the best in the city, seriously) The only comment as someone living in the EV! The competitive restaurant like "Cafetasia" has very long lunch hours until 7 pm! They call it happy hour instead of lunch menu with big discount. I'm a regular there also. If this restaurant extend their lunch time a little longer, i would really love this place!!!

It's alright, but Gama was better.

I went here last week to try it out. I used to love Gama before it closed because I thought the food was excellent and they didn't really have any of that fusion bullshit. Well this place opened so I figured I'd give it a shot out of curiosity. The menu is completely fusion to the point where I couldn't even figure what half the menu would taste like. I'm not saying a fusion menu is a bad thing, but personally I would prefer a straight up Korean place. The prices were pretty high but I did manage to get a big bowl of Ja Jang Myun for around $6-7 if I remember correctly. I was excited to see that on the menu because I haven't really been anywhere that serves it in the city. It tasted good but it wasn't the best I've had. The service was mad friendly so that's always a plus. I can't really comment much on the atmosphere because it really isn't my thing, but it's definitely a welcoming and "hip" place I would say. I don't even know why I'm writing this review, I never do this shit. In the end the place ain't bad, and knowing me I'll probably go back. I just wish there were a few more Korean dishes on the menu that I would like to see.
