Hung Ling kitchen is fast, friendly and fresh take out. Don't get too fancy on the order - you're asking for trouble. They do a great job on the your basic Chinese takeout.

Ordered steamed veg dumplings and general tso's chicken. I told them specifically that I wanted vegetable dumplings and not pork; but of course I got pork. Called the guy to let him know and he told me I never said vegetable even though I said it 3 times. Guy just hung up on me. Chicken was decent.

This is our go-to Chinese delivery place for the past year. Consistently good, fair prices, and very speedy delivery. We tried a bunch of other places in the area before settling down with Hing Lung, and have yet to regret it.

This place is truly fantastic, I normally do take but I have gone in and it is very inviting and pleasing. I am writing my review for one reason if if it is more to talk about. The food is always right on time fresh, tasty and excellent prices. Now the reason for me writing this post is for something that is never really mentioned. The delivery people they have are some of the most pleasant people to ring your bell. Their is one guy who works their who is such a grateful man I don't care what the weather is outside. Well I am not trying to drag this out the bottom line is I don't cook much so I do alot of take out. I have tried almost every restaurant and this one tops the rest with quality taste and service. You know those Mexican Chinese places. You know, they're usually called something really simple and kinda dumb like Happy Taco or Fast Taco, something like that. They're kinda dumpy but the food is delicious. So good that you only question why a Chinese person is making your "Mexican" food then quickly dismiss the thought because that shrimp taco tastes so damn good. Well, Hing Lung Kitchen is kinda like that but for Chinese food. Here's why. Of course they have the typical Americanized Chinese dishes but as you're searching through the menu you come across sides and dishes like, fried chicken nuggets, french fries and maduros (sweet plantains). Last time I checked, that's not Chinese food unless of course you're in Puerto Rico. :) Hing Lung Kitchen fits my Chinese food criteria in 8 ways. 1) No bullet proof glass or a gated door separating the employee from the customer. Those places creep me the eff out. I always feel like they have cats frozen in their freezer. 2) Yummy dumplings. Even better on day 2. 8 for $4.95 3) They deliver to my apartment. 4) Friendly and attentive staff. No rudeness here. 5) Snapple 6) Free can of soda for $12 spent or 2 liters of soda for $20 spent 7) No one is sleeping under the counter. I know this is a weird one but, in the Chinese place we would go to in high school, employees slept under the counter. No lie. 8) Right next to Met super market. Shop while they cook your food! I'll definitely order from Hing Lung again. If you live in the area, I suggest you try too.

ordered mixed veggies with bean curd and fried rice. perfectly serviceable chinese takeout. both were surprisingly light, not too greasy for americanized chinese. they even have ma po tofu on the menu, but it being the first time i ordered from hing lung, i decided to keep it simple. enough to feed 2 people.

Pretty decent. Chow fun sucks, but egg foo young and soups and apps were good. Cheap and fast too, and a ton of food!
