    Poor experience all round

This wildly overpriced place serve poor bbq which you have to go up to counters to order. The brisket was tasteless; the pork ribs had hardly any pork on them. The tater salad and cole slaw weren't good. The corn pudding was ok.

    Must for barbecue fans

From the food (any meat / poultry comes from the smokehouse and is paid by weight) and the supplements (there are in paper cups in 3 different sizes-some getting used to) to the typical American ambience an absolutely recommendable restaurant. For the "all you can eat" offer for € 27 you have already really hungry. Table reservation extremely important! Have fun and good appetite in the Hill Country of A.Loidl

    Grease festival

We've been here a number of times and last night all the meat except the rib roast was beyond greasy. Just dripping. Good bbq should be slow and long so the fat drips off but not last night here. Also the sides were lackluster. Better before.

    Good but

I understand paying more in NYC, but Hill Country is pushing the bounds of what is acceptable. Chicken breast, two legs, .5 lb of brisket, trust me you'll be a little shocked when you get to the register. The food was good, but was it that good? Ouch.

    Disappointed

A far cry from real Texas bbq. This is coming from a Texan. Disappointed. And overpriced to boot.

    Nice place

Best ribs ever eated !! Nice atmosphere expecially for large groups. Barbercue sauce is maybe the weakest point.

    Overpriced and just 'okay' food.

Went there first time yesterday eve. Ribs were pretty good, but sides & sausage & brisket were just okay. We were not impressed. But the shocking kicker was $7 for a bottle of beer - Sam Adams to be exact! This place is over priced and they don't even bother with plates. I know that's supposed to add to the 'authenticity', but it just made everything more annoying. The best thing was that the guys who bussed were helpful and friendly.
