On the cusp of Murray Hill and Kips Bay, you'll find the restaurant, appropriately named, Hill and Bay. From brunch to dinner, you can go in for a casual and chic vibe with an equally attractive menu. I went in on an off-hour, but soon noticed that this new neighborhood restaurant fills up pretty quickly. I ordered their namesake cocktail, the Hill and Bay Spicy Martini (chipotle vodka, pickle brine, blue cheese stuffed olives). I'm not usually one for a dirty martini, but, the chipotle vodka and blue cheese stuffed olives are what sold me. I really enjoyed it, a very mild spice of the vodka, and the bit of saltiness from the brine really compliment each other nicely. And, when a drink comes with its own snack? Fan.

Delicious food and great energy! I had the Spare Ribs and my husband had the Fish and Chips. Both loaded with flavor! The place was a little noisy, but it was fine for the young (and young at heart) ... not where you go if you want intimacy, though.

I had the food there as it is primarily a restaurant, not a bar. Suffice it to say, the burger that I had was by far the best burger in the area of murray hill. The fries are fine cut and also delicious. Worth it.

I went in to check this place out, since it's new. I found the staff to be quite nice but the noise level was out of control. By 8:00 the place was packed but, even though the music was at a low level, you couldn't even hear the person talking next to you. I think it just has bad acoustics. I also thought the drinks were a bit pricey for this neighborhood.
