Very good angus burger and "farmwich" (roast pork, bacon, cheese, fried egg, yum). Good staff, chef is talented in this neighborhood spot that is definitely worth a trip. Nice ambiance and a relaxing spot to hang in. Recommended.

I've been twice now, once with my husband, and again with a party of 12 including 3 children. Both times, service was awesome, food was very high quality, really tasty, not a single complaint. Pours on the drinks are a bit on the light side, but overall a great place to have a casually high quality meal in a nice (if a bit noisy) atmosphere.

Went late on a Sunday afternoon when it was almost empty. We ordered the burger ($10 for burger and beer special until 7 PM) and a trio of sides. Everything was very good, especially the mushroom side. Even better was the complimentary flatbread with hummus that they brought to start the meal. Service was very attentive (not difficult given that the place was empty) and friendly. The decor is nice and unpretentious, which I liked but seemed a little inconsistent with the prices, which are generally on the high side for entrees - more what you'd expect at a place with fancier decor and romantic lighting, not a bar/gastropub type environment. Still, it seems like they use very high quality ingredients and prepare the food well, so for me the prices may be justified. I'll be back to try a full dinner.

Had dinner with several friends. Carefully and creatively prepared food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and unpretentious. The server(s) / service was responsive and knowledgeable. All made for and overall excellent experience. I would definitely return and would recommend to friends.

Sure if you just want a Bloody Mary after a rough Saturday night, this is no better or disappointing than most, but if you want food, or service, good luck. First if you can get a waitress the poor thing doesn't have a clue, then you'll wait, busy or slow, until you're having a hypoglycemic attack, and if you're lucky it will be what you ordered and cooked correctly; my table wasn't so lucky. Some tables were lucky enough to get the signature hush puppies served in a mini shopping cart, insensitive gimmick considering the homeless passing by on the avenue with the full size ones, when the food came half of it was cold because it was sitting waiting for the rest of the order, this while other tables who came after got served before us. We had to then track down a waitress to get things like toast, butter, coffee, silverware, ketchup, for which we were charged later as "sides", though they did ultimately take it off the bill after we asked. The food itself isn't as good as any old school diner, especially at the price.

Went in for a late lunch on Saturday and had a great meal: excellent burger, fantastic fries, terrific caesar salad, attentive pleasant service, and lovely little cinnamon-sugar donut holes, complementary, to start. As we ate, a man came by and asked how the meal was, found out later he was the chef/owner, couldn't have been nicer. The entire staff wanted to be sure we had a great experience, and we did. Great music, too. Hope this new Chelsea spot is a success, will definitely go back.

My husband and I had a great dinner here last night. The atmosphere was great. We loved teh photos above the bar area. The music was very enjoyable with lots of Talking Heads. The food was tasty and presented very well. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. Nice neighborhood spot!
