    Welcome Mambo

Have been here more than a few times. Also recommended it to friends. The atmosphere is great...music not loud, nice decor....service is good. There are usually nice specials. This is my "go to place". Their white wine selection is not great. Would like a nice chardonay? Food is very consistently good. Outdoor space is lovely.

    Chef Moussa!

I've dined here with family and friends on several occasions. I can say from experience that Chef Moussa's cuisine is sensational. A foodie's paradise on The Upper West Side. Wonderful scallops, The most tender Short Ribs, and Oh My... 7 Days Duck! Lovely service and a very friendly and knowledgeable Bar Manager named Blake. Not to dine here is to miss out on something special.

    My New Favorite Place

Husband and I loved our garden dinner last month ; returned last night with two other couples. Cozy booth inside seat meant enjoying the beautiful interior but busy-night noise was minimal and we could truly enjoy each other's company. Service was prompt, friendly. Their stable of mixed drinks were great: muddled blueberry was a hit but the Manahattan, draft beer, and Gypsy cocktail also pleased. Waiter was non-plussed with shared appetizers or someone wanting two apps as a dinner; knowledgeable about preparations. Nice variety of music played; we could hear it but not intrusively. Three hours, soup to nuts, many drinks, with tip about $60/head. A good find; we will definitely be back.

    On the Fence

I went with a group for brunch and sat in their garden. The garden is wonderful. They simply need more staff and a better manager. They were very nice in getting us a comp birthday drink for everyone however the service was not so good. Entrees and drinks came very slowly. Some entrees burned.

    outstanding

What a wonderful night! We got scant attention elsewhere-- they had plenty of business so they felt comfortable in being rude - and we happened upon Hey Mambo! Great Food. Superb staff and Management. Every single thing was done right - from food to service, from presentation to us feel at home. We will be back! (poor name for such a wonderful place)

    Mambo YES!

GO immediately! Group went for Sunday brunch and we had a great time from the first person who lead us in through the food and meeting the delightful owner. Great food and atmosphere - be sure to check out all the art. Neighborhood treat, not yet discovered and yes, children friendly.
