the best kind of neighborhood joint

This place ain't fancy. No fancy martinis, no fancy finger food. BUT...this place has great bars, amazing pub-style food, and gracious laid-back service. I went back for my 4th time a couple weeks ago and had a great time. The crowd was mixed and eclectic

    Relaxing Saturday afternoon

My girlfriend and I just happened upon this place during a walk and decided to grab a beer. The atmosphere was subdued and the music was great. Exactly what I was looking for. Then I noticed they had one of my favorite beers on tap, Staropramen. I was

    Avoid crabcake and catfish sandwich!

Crabcake sandwich had no crabmeat. It's tastes like it's straight from a supermarket freezer. The Cajun catfish is enidable because is is grainy and overly spicy. Will not return.

    Regrettable Experience

Lack of service, civility, and regard for their clientele. Bartenders and staff are rude, neglectful, unprofessional, and clearly, from the history of poor reviews, unwilling to change. If this kind of service is their shtick, Henry out to be out about it

Last May, after several uneventful trips to Henry St.,, I accidentally left my debit card there, called to confirm it was there and came back for it the next day. The bartender at the time (Sat. early evening) couldn't find it on first go, refused to loo

Solid Dinner Option in Brooklyn Heights

My husband and I come here for dinner fairly often. It's one of our favorite spots in the neighborhood. The pulled pork sandwich, catfish sandwich, burger, chili, monster chicken burrito and mac and cheese are a few favorites. Yes, food here can be a bit

    Beware the fake crabmeat sandwich!

Ordered the crabcake sandwich and was very disappointed with the fake crabmeat. It tasted very processed, and did not contain one ounce of real crab meat. My husband enjoyed his burger, though. Service was great and prices were decent. Place was very
