Turkey Leg Sandwich
Seriously, the turkey leg sandwich is all it's cracked up to be. It's just melt in your mouth delicious, and I hear the hamburger "sandwiches" are as well. Great bartenders, lovely cozy spot, they whip up an excellent martini or manhattan, and the sides (roasted brussels sprouts, mustard greens, etc.) hit the spot. This place deserves to be busy on a Sunday (which it was last night). Cheers!

Love this Spot
My wife and I pop into Henry Public about once a week for a pint of beer and super tasty grilled cheese sandwiches with fries. They taste homemade and have slices of apple, a really nice combination. The place is really well done, from the vintage tin plates with chipped corners to the suspender wearing, friendly bartenders. Feels old school but nothing gimmicky. Our little 9 month old girl digs it to. Check it out.

Charmed
Old world delightful and charming. Walked in and was greeted by a charming bartender. The cocktail menu was unusual, sparking a conversation about the bartender's skills. He claimed his specialty was making cocktails with egg whites (!!!). I said make me something... And The Nell was born! Lots of ingredients. I just remember it had violet and elderberry liquors, cucumber, raw sugar, & egg white. It was the softest, tastiest cocktail I've ever had. I hope he remembers it for next time! If not, I can't wait to see what else he makes.
