Awesome
This was my second visit in three years and it was just as good as I remember. My guests are still raving about their dinner. The only disappointment was the bar. The drinks were just poorly done. Stick to beer and you will love this restaurant.

Amazing Food
Been here many times and always amazed by the food. Top quality and some plate are just exquisite. The margaritas are wonderful. The service is pretty good. Problem with this place is it's so loud you can't hear someone right next to you. Really puts a damper on the place. Another problem is they don't take reservations after 7. Bummer! Still the food is worth it every now and again.

Made my Top 5
This is one of my favorite restaurants -- hands down. Everything on the menu is amazingly delicious. Can't go wrong with any pick. I frequent it often and the food is always consistent. I love how small and cozy it is...it is definitely one of my top picks in NYC.

What a great find!
I brought my husband to NYC to celebrate his 40th birthday on Feb 24th weekend. We had made reservations for other dinners, but decided to "wing it" on Sunday night. We walked down restaurant row and weren't thrilled with any of the choices and decided to try 9th Ave. Boy are we glad we did! The atmosphere at Hell's Kitchen was just about perfect - not too loud and not too quiet. I guess you could call it lively. The service was attentive but not pushy. And the food was delicious, interesting and well-portioned. The black bean dip with the cornbread brought to the table was so yummy, as was the scallop appetizer. My husband ordered the shrimp with plantains and I had the duck entree. Both were very tasty - the spices used were perfect. We really enjoyed the warm chocolate cake dessert - a perfect end to a wonderful meal. By the way, we had a nice bottle of Argentine wine as well. Thank you for a most enjoyable last night in New York! We'll definitely come back again.

Great Place
My husband and i were in NYC for my birthday in 2006. Looking for something Mexican but more upscale, we stumbled on Hell's Kitchen. What a fantastic place. Food is great! Complimentary bean dip and corn meal flatbread was just what we needed. I had a margarita (i'd rate it a 5 out of ten, a little tart for my taste, but it was good anyway). We ordered the guacamole which came with spicy chips. My husband had pulled pork and i had the chicken enchiladas. This was a very nice place for a midafternoon lunch. Great food, decent prices. Service was slow, but we didn't mind it since we were here to relax. I recommend this place to anyone--not your ordinary mexican.

Amazing experience (a little pricey)
Great food. Waiters are amazing. Owner came and asked us how we were/if he could check our coats. Food incredible. A must in this neighborhood.

Great place and great price
I tried Hell's Kitchen a few weeks ago and thought it was great. Great food, great price, good service, nice atmosphere. Staff was pretty great and the menu has plenty to choose from.
