Here's what I think would make this place way better: some sort of topping bar. Their sauces alone are not enough to make the pasta interesting. I ordered the mushroom cream sauce, which was not bad but pretty darn boring. I kept thinking it would have been so much nicer if I could have chosen a topping of fresh tomatoes or spinach to go along with it. Pasta is so easy to make, I don't usually have it for lunch unless it's something really special or something I couldn't easily make on my own.

I ordered the pasta Carbonara and was disappointed, the flavor was very bland and there was no fresh basil as listed on the menu. They charge for bread, they do not serve butter, and they delivered the meal with no utensils and the bread was wrapped in what looked like used napkins. Not sure I would go back or recommend to anyone. I ordered the large thinking I would have left overs and it was not a large portion.

I've visited only once so far but had a great experience. It's a quick, simple grab and go place but does have ample seating. You have your choice of different pastas, including whole wheat, and several different sauces. All with the option to add cheese. The staff was very friendly and I was in and out with a good size serving of pasta the way I like it in under 5 minutes for just around $7. A great value in midtown!
