I love this place, its convinently located infront of my clothing store, so i eat there pretty frequently. And i must say the food is great!, the pancakes are delicious and so are their burgers. The best part is the service, in a few minutes my order is always ready. I highly recomend Hector's

Located directly beneath the old elevated trains of the lower west side, sits this absolutely classic diner. With lots of flavor and very reasonable prices, you'd be hard-pressed to find another venue like this in the up and coming "Meat Packing District". The meat comes fresh off the trucks and the clientele is made up of NYC's last real Meat Packers. I recommend the Omelettes and Pancakes.

Blink and you'll miss it. If you don't blink, you get the freshest food that only the meat market can supply. Egg and bacon sandwiches taste like it came off the farm an hour ago because it did! All meat packing workers inside, down to earth atmosphere. Chicken is moist, juicy and fresh and all food served quick. Nothing I've eaten there wasn't bursting with flavor. Not the place to take a typical first date, but if you want a quality meal to go while staying in to watch movies or wanna catch up with an old friend and eat well, Hector's Rules.

This meat market diner is a winner. Most of the clientele are meat workers, the food is cheap, fast and excellent.
