I order breakfast almost everyday from this place. I dont have any addictions...except for their banana nut muffins which they have no problem allowing me to personally choose the one I want ! There quick fast and delicious! Most importantly the food is so FRESH ... It's just like home !!

A famous ad once said, "you can't eat the atmosphere," and it's so true when it comes to Healthy Choice. Don't be fooled by the ordinary atmosphere and the lack of seating...this is, without a doubt, the freshest, most varied menu anywhere along Seventh Avenue. They make everything fresh every day and all their salads and sandwiches give you your money's worth. You can serve yourself from the salad bar or look over the deli counter at the list of (literally) hundreds of different sandwiches they'll whip up on the spot. I've seen a lot of new restaurants open in the neighborhood lately, but this one is still the best.

Everytime I order a burger and ask for specific ingredients, I get the total opposite of what I asked for. Very dissapointing. But the pizza is awesome. The guys are very nice and it has a friendly nice atmosphere.

"Healthy Choice Deli" is the best! They have an amazing selection of home cooked food, prepared fresh each day by the house chef. Whether you like hot food or cold he takes comfort food to a new level. It's an entire gourmet restaurant packed inside a NY deli. In the sandwich department you can customize your selection or have the cheerful and attentive sandwich artists fix you up a NY classic with speed and a smile. From the Pizza oven there is everything from the perfect plain slice to the most creative combinations in NY. Try a slice! You will find me almost every day at lunch time at the sandwich counter picking up the best egg salad on toasted rye you can find. Swing by the corner of 29th and 7th for great food, great people, and great prices!

I ordered a Greek omelette for breakfast and it came with BACON. Couldn't eat it. To their credit, they apologized and offered to bring me another one but I declined. Cooks are surly and give you whatever comes to their mind. Yes, I'll be eating elsewhere.

The quality of their food is about average for a deli - decent deli meats, decent bagels, etc. Even though this is about 50 feet from my door I choose to walk the extra block to ANY other deli. I've ordered from this deli for years due to it's convenience, and when I ask for anything remotely custom (as small as no mayo on my sandwich) they have NEVER gotten it right. I would excuse even once every other order, but I'm talking probably hundreds of orders over the past 10 years where they have not once given me what I ordered. I have finally given up on them and will go the extra block to get what I ordered.

I order from here everyday and they deliver quick.
